We also travel more distantly for commercial projects. We perform a wide range of foundation projects such as foundation repair, installation of deep foundations, retaining walls, excavation for foundations, hillside home solutions, general concrete work, and various other commercial projects. We have especially deep knowledge in helical piles, resistive piles, helical tiebacks, and other deep foundation solutions. Our Origins: Established by Roger Pase in 1993 in Aptos, California, he would crawl the subarea, diagnosis the issue, and come back with his crew the next day to repair the issue such as a horizontal foundation crack or vertical crack. Always keen for the most cost-effective solution for his clients, Avalon soon connected with innovators in the growing field of helical piles for foundation stabilization. We then added the resistive pile to our repair toolkit, which can be even more economical in certain situations. Our Specialties: We have extensive experience with deep foundations, such as underpinning and releveling residential homes and building foundations for wind turbines over 300 feet tall. We install helical piles, resistive piers, micro piles, and drilled piers. We also install deep foundations in liquefaction zones and in other troublesome soils. We inspect the foundation and provide floor level surveys to precisely measure any differential settlement that may have occurred. We endeavor to provide the most accurate analysis of the situation, including working with independent engineers where necessary to provide a complete diagnosis of the situation and potential remediation.
